Video sharing giant YouTube has removed nearly 78 million videos between July to September, in its effort to remove objectionable content on its platform. At the same time, the company has also said that if anyone does not follow our guidelines then we will block his channel.
According to the latest U-Tube Community Guidelines Enforcement report by YouTube, 81 percent of these videos were detected by machines. In the investigation conducted by the machines, 74.5 percent of the video surfaced, including a single view.
The company’s official statement viral on this Friday, “When we found a video in violation of our guidelines, we removed it and took action on the channel. We will stop the entire channel if they post content against our Community Guidelines or violate it seriously once or once on issues such as child sexual abuse.
The company is simultaneously using both Human Reviewer and Technology to fight wrong content on its platform, and the company is using more advanced machine learning (ML) to flag such content from 2017 itself.
